The marriage line is right smack in the middle of the home so I have to go across it regardless. Rg floor, the two sides of the home are secured at approx. 4 feet intervals in the basements by bolts. Moving or sinking of one of the sides will not be an issue.. or at least shouldn't I hope
The best way to verify that it is modular is to look under the home for marriage lines of beams that have been bolted together. Where a site-built home would have double sill beams throughout, the marriage line of two modules will have two double-beams bolted together.

Where are the electrical marriage line usually found on double wides? Is there a standard for where these are located or is it just randon locations. We found a place near the rear of the home that seemed to be where the splice was made but when we connected those lines back up still no electric.

So i have a double wide and I wanted to lay vinyl throughout the whole house. My floor guy says that there would be a problem with the "marriage" line the metal strip with bolts running through the middle of the house from front to back . He says laminate would be better since there is a layer of insulation that would work it out or I could put plywood throughout to even it out.
