Fishbum, I have fixed the floor also in my old Starcraft. Twice It can be a pain in the you know what Your boat width is usually wider than a 4' sheet of plywood so cutting the shape out of the length is no good.

RE: Replacing Wood Floor in Boat I'm 6'6" tall and tip the scales at 245 and I can't make the floor bounce in my boat with 1/2" the long. stringers in my starcraft were 18" apart. The original floor was 1/2 and it lasted for 18 years if I get that much service out of it I'll be happy, if you go with 3/4 your probably going to have a tough time

Did a complete floor last year in a Starcraft I swore i'd never do that again. I'm hoping if I go the paint way, I could get it in white to avoid the hot feet. I helped my neighbor replace the floor in their boat a couple of years ago. Replaced it with pressure treated plywood and did get the truck bedliner - nonskid - sprayed on afterward.
